After years of dance training in Barcelona, Emma moves to Vermont in order to complete her undergraduate education at Bennington College. During this time, she works with choreographers Gwen Welliver, Kota Yamazaki, Susan Sgorbati and Daniel Roberts, and her first dance film is selected by Utah Dance Film Festival. She also produces a series of shorts commissioned by Festival Curt Ficcions (Barcelona), and in 2014, she graduates with the premier of her projects Lacuna and Quintet for Square.

In 2016 she co-founds Three Planes Collective with Finn Murphy and Kaya Lovestrand. Together, they collaborate with choreographers Isabel López and Elena Demyanenko, whose work they perform in Barcelona (Mostra InSitu, Antic Teatre, L’Estruch, La Visiva, Festival TuDanzas), Los Angeles (Electric Lodge, RenArts Theater Space), New York (No Theme Performance Festival, MX Gallery) and Vermont (Bennington College). During this time Emma works closely with Finn Murphy in the choreographic adaptation of the duet DeConstrucción#3.

Emma now lives in Barcelona, where she develops her own dance works (Vicariously Vital, Artificio Natural, Rítmia), and collaborates in audiovisual works (Babelian Circles, Efugio) and pedagogical projects (Nuzic, Casa Virupa). Her work has been shown at civic centers in Barcelona, Festival Sismógraf (Olot), Galeria Cadaqués, No Theme Performance Festival (USA) and international dancefilm festivals. She also offers contemporary dance and somatics-based classes and workshops (La Visiva, Rocaumbert, Casa Virupa), where she explores the relationship between body and mind, inspired by different approaches to physical wellbeing and holistic health. She recently completed Casa Virupa’s Meditation Course and started training as a Somatic Movement Educator at Movimiento Atlas, an official Body-Mind Centering® school.
